Rules for the EEHL

Rules for the Eastside Elite Summer Hockey League

  • The Eastside Elite Summer Hockey League is a fun and competitive way for high caliber hockey players to stay in shape during the off-season.

 

  • The EEHL is a non-check summer league consisting of players from the junior, college, and pro level.

 

  • All protective equipment must be worn at all times. Shoulder pads are required.

 

  • Any major penalty will be up to commissioner’s discretion.

 

  • A major penalty may result in dismissal from the EEHL without a refund.

 

  • EEHL will enforce a strict ZERO tolerance fighting policy.

 

  • Games consist of three, 15 minute stop time periods. A resurface will take place every two periods.

 

  • If a game is tied after 3 periods it will be decided by a three man shootout. (except playoffs)

 

  • Every team member must participate in the shootout before a shooter may repeat.

 

  • Only players on the active roster may participate in a contest, unless permission is granted by the commissioner. *No exceptions.

 

  • Participates must recognize everyone is entitled to equal ice time.

 

  • HAVE FUN!! The real season starts in the Fall!
